Design advice from Lucy Feagins - @thedesignfiles
The essence of great kitchen design is achieved by combining classic form and function to create a timeless look, according to Lucy Feagins, creator of The Design Files website.
“For me, Miele brings together both of these attributes really well,” Lucy says.
With over 300,000 followers on Instagram, Australia’s most popular blog is the go-to by many for design inspiration and advice.
“I often get asked about design trends, but I try not to stick too closely to fads,” Lucy said.
“I really like classic design. So for me that’s where Miele is a really great solution. It’s about timeless, classic design.”
The Design Files open house is one of Lucy’s biggest events of the year and involves the interior of an industrial space being designed to feel like the interior of the ultimate Australian home.
Last year, The Design Files Open House event featured Miele’s incredible handleless ArtLine kitchen in Graphite Grey.
“It was an incredible undertaking. We designed and built the kitchen from scratch and it was definitely the centrepiece of the event,” Lucy said.
