Missing/unsuitable cookware symbol (PowerFlex)

The symbol for missing or unsuitable cookware appears on the PowerFlex cooking zone of the induction hob. Whenever cookware is placed in the centre of a PowerFlex cooking zone, the symbol for missing or unsuitable cookware appears on the display of the PowerFlex cooking zone.

The diameter of the base of the cookware is too small.

Use cookware with a suitable base diameter.

Please note that the cookware diameter quoted by manufacturers often refers to the maximum diameter or diameter of the top rim. The diameter of the base (generally smaller) is more important.

The base of the cookware does not contain enough magnetic material.

Place the cookware on a specific cooking zone.
