Active charcoal filter smells bad

The DKF 29 active charcoal filter of the cooker hood is starting to smell after only a short operating time. Depending on cooking habits, the DKF 29 charcoal filter for recirculation mode may give off a smell (e.g. a fishy smell) even after only a short operating time.

Unlike the old active charcoal filters, the new filters do not contain copper due to legal requirements. Depending on the customer’s cooking habits, certain odours (e.g. fish) might not be adsorbed as effectively.

If you often cook dishes like this, please use the DKF 29-R reactivatable charcoal filter.
