Low water and energy consumption
The newly designed suds container closely hugs the inner drum, and the entrance to the sump with its heater elements is gently curved. This enables very low water levels, achieving significant water and electricity savings.

Patented honeycomb drum 2.0
Gentle fabric care and intense cleaning performance
The ribs in the honeycomb drum scoop up water and transport it to the top of the drum during washing. A new arrangement of perforations in the ribs causes water to shower down on the load, guaranteeing thorough wetting. The sculptured structure of the Miele honeycomb drum lets garments glide gently on a thin film of water.

The 3D imbalance monitoring guarantees consistent residual moisture values. As well as this, it reduces the strain exerted on the suspension system and drum bearings – a significant factor in the washing machines achieving long service lives.

A new balance of mechanical action and water usage
The EcoSpeed wash process features an optimised drum rhythm. Working at a low speed, the scoop ribs take in a large amount of water, which wets the laundry intensively from above. The speed is then increased gradually and the laundry is pressed against the drum wall. The reinforced mechanical action enables intensive cleaning performance with less water.
Preparation of cleaning cloths
Ready for immediate use
Cleaning cloths can be used again immediately by being treated with cleaning agents or surface disinfectants while still in the machine. This process saves an enormous amount of time and increases cleaning performance as well as efficiency – especially compared to manual reprocessing.

Clean from the start
Wet and heavily soiled mop heads present a real challenge for the washing process. The patented pre-spin removes excess water from mop heads as soon as the programme starts. This reduces the amount of soiling and surfactants getting into the next stage of the wash process. The result is outstanding cleanliness with the greatest possible material protection.

The highly efficient suspension system with two independent springs and additional shock absorbers significantly increases the lateral stability of the washing machine. This approach minimises the impact of vibrations during the spin cycle.

The full-touch controls with colour touch display have set a new benchmark for professional machine operation. Thanks to the modern controls, the machine can be operated with a swipe or the touch of a finger and programmes can also be changed as required. For example, programme details can be modified or new programmes can be created. All displays are available in the local language, which can be selected from a list of 31 languages.
